Ice skating in the summer

Hello dear ones!

Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to write in the past few days. A lot has happened, but time and motivation have been lacking.

But now, a quick update on our journey through Vietnam.

We flew from Hanoi to Da Nang. It's a very beautiful and modern city. Once again, you can clearly see the difference between Laos and Vietnam - Vietnam is definitely more developed and progressive.

However, we encountered a small problem when we arrived at the hostel in the evening. For some reason, our rooms were not available, overbooked, or for other reasons not able to be occupied. Fortunately, the nice lady had already booked us into another hotel just a few meters from the beach and called a taxi for us. This time we were really lucky and even got an upgrade to a whole apartment with a kitchen and living room for only 5€ per person per night.

We spent the day together with Chiara and Marvin in the city and went swimming in the Asian sea with huge waves for the first time. In the evening, we passed the time in a shopping center. When we found an ice skating rink in the middle of it, everyone was excited. It was wonderfully relaxing and refreshing to ice skate in shorts and a top.

We even got a little bit of "Christmas feeling" here, which is usually missing due to the hot temperatures and humid weather =)
