Last days in Florida

The last days in Cape Coral have arrived. We are enjoying the beautiful weather, it is getting warmer every day.

In the evening, we can watch a rocket launch 🚀 in Cape Canaveral from our house.... Well, actually just see a dot.... but still.

Now it's evening and it's so warm that we can sit outside without a fire.

The next day, we take the boat to Sanibel for one last tour.

We anchor in front of the dream beach. The water is so shallow that you can stand here.

And then in the evening, we fly back home from Miami. The plane is almost an hour late, so there's time for an Aperol.

After a restless night due to severe turbulence, we arrive in Munich with a one-hour delay. But we have enough time to catch the flight to Cologne. Unfortunately, it's not enough for our luggage, it doesn't arrive in Cologne.

However, we can say that we are glad to be able to enjoy a vacation without many restrictions during the pandemic. Except for shopping, we didn't really notice much of it.

But the mosquitoes had a feast on me. I've never been bitten so much. Apparently, they didn't like Jürgen.

Now we're waiting for our suitcases and hoping that they all show up again, and we will cherish this vacation throughout the winter.
