Tag 329 - Khun Si Waterfall & Tan Rua Waterfall

Hello everyone!

Wow, I had a perfect start to the day ☺️

Kevin woke me up with music just after 8:30, very gently ☺️

Then I went out to the terrace and in the meantime Kevin ordered breakfast to the room - even a cappuccino was included!

After breakfast, we briefly discussed what we would like to see today, because today we wanted to ride around the island on a scooter ☺️

Around noon, we finally set off ☺️

We drove about 45 minutes to our first stop, a waterfall. We parked the scooter in a parking lot in the forest, and then walked about 250 meters steeply downhill.

In our opinion, the first part of the waterfall was less spectacular, but if you climb up it, you reach another one. We liked this one much better, there were hardly any people and a flat stone invited us to take a break. So we sat down, took many photos, and enjoyed the sound of the water for about two hours ☺️

At some point, we started the ascent, because there was one more point I wanted to check off. Once at the top, we discovered another great viewpoint, a real insider tip! ☺️

Not 500 meters further, we discovered a cute bar and spontaneously decided to take another break for a banana shake each ☺️

After that, we wanted to drive to a closed viewpoint, but the road was really no road anymore, and about two kilometers before reaching our destination, we were forced to turn back due to a huge puddle (across the entire width of the road) ☺️

We got a little lost and eventually found our way to the second waterfall. To get to this one, we had to walk down a good distance, but the path also led over a very picturesque bridge!

This waterfall was also very beautiful and much bigger than the last one. However, we couldn't find a quiet spot here and decided to slowly make our way back.

We reached our accommodation at 5pm and enjoyed the last rays of sunshine on the terrace.

We got ready and went to the restaurant around the corner ☺️

The crispy chicken burgers are reeeeeally delicious 😋

Now it's 8:15pm again and we say:
