Goodbye Costa Rica, see you later!

Eldonita: 17.11.2024

This is my last week and I am very sad to say goodbye to the kids, the teachers, my house, and my friends:( But I am also very excited to go to Quito on Sunday!

Unfortunately, the last week in Costa Rica has begun and it has been incredibly hard for me to say goodbye to the kids and my new friends.

Nevertheless, it was somehow time to start the next adventure, after all, I've seen an amazing amount in 6 weeks!

For the kids, I put together a small bag, got chocolate for the teachers, and everyone was very happy about that!

I spent my last days washing all my things because I don't know how it will be in Ecuador. Also, I ate a Casado one last time (of course) and as a final highlight, we went to two big waterfalls on Friday.

It was a long day because we drove almost 5 hours to reach them.

But it was really impressive and definitely worth it!

On Saturday, we were at a very cool market with fruits & vegetables, as well as handmade jewelry and clothing!

I had my most expensive espresso (4€!!) and tried various chocolates from the stalls :)

I spent my last evening in a karaoke bar and sang “Rock my Body” by Justin Timberlake with Natalie!

On Sunday morning, I had to get up at 3:30AM to catch my flight at 8AM to Panama. I saw the Panama Canal!!

Then it's straight to Quito :)

I am super curious and looking forward to the upcoming days!

I will keep you posted,

Quick see you later from me, I’m actually sitting in Panama writing this blog, and my boarding group has just been called!

So off I go to the next destination!

Kiss
