Quaint mountain village Scanno with charming lake

It was going to be cool, not to say cold in Monte Cassino, the weather change was there. We drove towards Scanno, a beautiful little town with a very nice heart-shaped lake.

We edited the next pictures because Scanno welcomed us with freezing drizzle.

But we enjoyed autumnally cool weather

In many doorways, wine, cheese, and sausages are offered for consumption. There are large candles in front of each door. Jazz music can be heard from public loudspeakers…

They are very proud of their lake

The area is beautifully wooded for the bears. Between 50 and 80 wild bears live in the Abruzzo region.
