Today, it's goodbye Vietnam and hello Cambodia for us.
We are continuing our journey to the next completely unknown country.
We take a bus for almost 6 hours to reach Phnom Penh.
The border crossing is really quick. At the first station, we get the Vietnamese exit stamp and a few meters further we have the visa for Cambodia in our passports ππΌ
We arrive in Phnom Penh feeling a bit tired.
After checking into the hotel, we just take a little walk, grab something to eat and then off to bed.
For the next day, we have booked a tour to the Killing Fields, we have to wake up early!
Well, waking up early didn't quite work out for me.
Apparently, I didn't tolerate the food last night and since 2:30 am, the toilet bowl has been my new best friend ππ
Unfortunately, I'm still not feeling better in the morning and we have to reluctantly cancel the tour to the Killing Fields.
I sleep until just before 11 to see if I'm fit enough for a 4-hour bus ride π
But after taking a Vomex, I am barely in the bus heading towards our next destination and I'm dozing off again π
Not really feeling well, we arrive in Kampot at 6:30 pm.
A super cute town in southern Cambodia.
Since I don't want to take any risks, I lay down after a short walk and sleep through until the next morning!
