On Tuesday, I visited the Ispinigoli Cave. Here is the highest column in Europe or the third highest column in the world. It measures 38 meters, with the lower 8 meters not really visible. And as it should be different: at the entrance, I was approached by Austrians, as they saw me with the motorhome. The partner association of their music association from Austria comes from Schorndorf and they have many friends and acquaintances there. We laughed heartily about this coincidence.
Next, I went to a parking lot in Porto Taverna. A hike took me to Capo Coda Cavallo with a beautiful view of Isola Tavolara. Over the mountain, there was a thick cloud all day, which I could also see from the parking lot.
On Friday, I picked up Julian in Olbia and we drove to the parking lot at the Spiaggia di Razza di Junco beach. Here we met Hilde and Peter again, whom I know from Portugal. The two are now also on the island.
The next day, Julian and I went to Capo Testa. There are countless rock formations to admire here. On our hike, we saw 3 turtles. Without Julian's eagle eye, I would have walked right past them :-)
From this cape, you have a good view of Corsica, which is only 12 kilometers away. My mobile phone also welcomed me on the French island :-)
My last days in Sardinia have arrived. I was there for 6 weeks. At first, I was skeptical if that wouldn't be too much, but it worked out really well. Then I will exchange the sea for lakes and fjords.
After 5 months almost exclusively by the sea, it will certainly take some time for me to adjust.
