One of the oldest cities in Colombia: Zipaquira, just under an hour north of Bogota. Alexander von Humboldt was also here. And he realized that the area is very rich in salt and that it should be mined. One thing led to another, and the workers created something unique in the freed tunnel: a cathedral made of salt stone!
