2nd day in Vancouver

Published: 15.11.2019

The day started with some rain, but it didn't stop me from sightseeing. I started at Canada Place, which is known as a convention center in Vancouver and is located right by the water.

After that, I went to the Gastown neighborhood. In the oldest part of Vancouver, there's a steam-powered clock called the "Steam Clock" that whistles the chimes of London's Big Ben every quarter hour. Unfortunately, the nearby Chinatown was occupied by many homeless people, so I didn't stay there for long.
Back by the water, I walked through Creekside Park, past the BC Place Stadium (home of the BC Lions football team), through Coopers' Park, and into one of Vancouver's harbors.
At the end of the day, I visited the upscale neighborhood of Yaletown, with many boutiques and restaurants.
