We set off on the Te Whara Loop Walk from our amazing campsite around noon.
4 hours - lots of steps - high fitness
Those were the details mentioned in our brochure. And they turned out to be true.
We started at the Peach Cove car park and were lucky with the weather throughout the entire walk. It hardly rained...

On the first part of the trail, we encountered a few tourists who did not continue the full walk due to the increasingly harsh weather conditions.
However, we decided to keep going and we were rewarded.
With a stunning 360° panorama from the 476m high summit of 'Te Whara'.
