Friendship in the neighborhood

Brazil is quite far from Germany - but somehow so close. Xenia and I have met two young people from Brazil who are doing a volunteer social year here at Johannesstift. Our first meeting at the student meeting was really good. We talked a lot. The plan for the future is to do a tandem project. That means speaking 30 minutes of German and 30 minutes of Portuguese, so we all benefit and learn the language directly and practically. We are excited to see how the project starts and goes.
