The Ruhrtal Cycle Route is completed. Today from Essen to Duisburg and back to Essen.
It was very diverse. I expected more shipping, but there were only leisure boats to the mouth. Commercial use seems to no longer exist. The orange steele marks the end of the route.
Here in Essen we found a nice place to stay with Irene and Abdul. Better than any hotel.
