The night was calm, and we slept well. In the morning, the sun was shining, and we set off back to Calgary. I had already reserved a campground in Calgary for our last night in the motorhome, as we had to return the motorhome by 10:00 am. So we drove to Calgary on Hwy1 in the morning. After about 1.5 hours, we arrived in the city. Unfortunately, I missed the exit, and we had to search for a long time until we found the Calgary West Campground. It is located in the middle of the 1988 Olympic sports facilities, above Hwy1. We settled into our pitch and made ourselves comfortable. For the first time, we had a pitch with Wi-Fi, which our children were very excited about. After we had stored everything, we set off to the city center. We inquired at the campground reception and then went to the Olympic Center to the bus stop. The first bus that came unfortunately did not go in our direction, but the bus driver asked us where we wanted to go and where we came from. Then he gave us 4 tickets for the ride to the city center, incredibly nice. The next bus was ours, and we traveled to the metro station, then took the train to downtown. There, we visited the City Hall, Olympic Plaza, and the long mall that connects the buildings, where we also went to a cafe. Otherwise, we did not find the city so exciting. In the early evening, we went back to the campground, where we arrived in the motorhome just before a thunderstorm started. After dinner, we started packing our bags and took the last photos.
