The farewell to Uluru ....

.... was not easy, as we had a great accommodation - among other things with a direct view of the Uluru - as well as some very special conditions at Uluru: In the past 24 hours, it has rained more at Uluru than it has in the last ten years. As a result, we were able to marvel at waterfalls at Uluru that are not seen every day. The following images provide an impression of these two wonderful circumstances of our time at Uluru. 

From Uluru, we first went to Melbourne for one night. In the evening, we met up with Roman: He has been living there with his wife and two children for about three years .... and is a former school and sportsmate of Karsten's daughter Toni. The good two hours of conversation and exchange were very pleasant and interesting. 

The following day was a travel day: First a well over three-hour flight from Melbourne to Perth, then an eight-hour flight from Perth to Mauritius. Because of this, as well as the time difference of seven hours, we arrived utterly exhausted at our hotel in Mauritius, quickly settled into our beach room, and only briefly went to the buffet restaurant for dinner.
