Penguin Island

An island full of penguins! They waddle back and forth everywhere. They happily squeak and chirp, wiggle their butts, and flap their wings up and down. I am delighted!

We are on Magdalena Island in Chile. We took a bus across the border to Punta Arenas and booked a boat tour from there.

The tour is worth every penny and meets all our expectations. For one hour, a marked path leads across the island, past the lighthouse, and back to the boat. The whole island is filled with penguins, exclusively penguins.

I am enjoying every minute to the fullest. It is so much fun to observe the animals in their natural habitat, how they live, protect their babies, go for a swim, and cuddle with each other. What a fantastic excursion!
