4.11. Middle of the World

Today we spent the whole day at the Middle of the World. This is a monument that was built on the supposed equator line. However, the actual equator line is about 240m further north.

Nevertheless, we took pictures like all the tourists on the line. 😁

Although this is probably the main attraction for tourists in Ecuador, it was a very interesting and entertaining place. There were many different exhibitions there, among other things.

Furthermore, we now know how far away our beloved Berlin is.

Of course, there are plenty of restaurants here. And one of the Ecuadorian specialties.
