Here we go! First 2 days in Merano, and then we hike to Lake Garda.
The journey was long, over 12 hours. At 7 PM, we went to a nice pizzeria with a view of a vineyard, and then we walked along the Sissiweg towards the city center. Beautiful villas, always with the high mountains in the background, really nice!
The Hotel Pienzenau, where we will spend 3 nights, is located in the villa district and has a great rooftop terrace with a view of the mountains.
It's off to a good start! :-)
