25. August Sölden to Our dear Lady in the Forest

Today is supposed to stay rain-free. But it will be cool. Currently, it's 2 degrees Celsius at Timmelsjoch.

This weekend, the Ötztal Marathon starts here. 238 km and 5,500 meters of altitude. Küthai - Brenner - Jaufenpass - Timmelsjoch.

The hotel owners here in Sölden donated the entire overnight stay amount yesterday! 👍🏽

Today, I have 2760 meters of altitude ahead of me for 102 km.

Puah, 2760 is a lot. But I made it. The Gampenpass had more altitude than Sölden Timmelsjoch.

But the descent from Timmelsjoch to Merano is a delight, almost 50 km downhill.
