From Cuzco via the La Raya Pass (4323m) to Puno. We visit the floating islands of Uros and then head towards Bolivia. We cross the border on foot and reach Copacobana, where we enjoyed a magnificent view and a wonderful sunset from Calvary Mountain. We continue to the Sun Island, have lunch in the peasant community of Santiago de Okola, and then embark on a 2.5-hour boat trip, which Toni has managed excellently. Afterwards, we reach La Pax by bus. We visit the Witch Market, take a city tour, visit the Valley of the Moon, enjoy a wonderful lunch sponsored by our children, and take a ride on various lines of the Teleférico, making today perfect.

18th / 19th October

Cozy 'usplämpere' at Copacabana, a last Caipi at the hotel, transfer to the airport and plenty of space on the long-haul flight... Here at Madrid airport, uploading the photos...
