As we 'waited' for our kayak tour, we spent a night at a free 'campground'. Actually, it was just a big parking lot in the middle of Motueka. This parking lot had to be left at 7:00 in the morning. We decided to drive to a beach and sleep a little more in the car. When we woke up, we realized where we had stayed. We woke up between huge villas and spent a few hours in the Hollywood Hills of New Zealand.
It was a strange feeling. While people in their polo shirts walked past our car, Brayden and I just took our camping equipment and had one of our best breakfasts here on the beach.
