Chiang Mai

After 3 days of banging in Thailand's capital, the city really takes its toll on a small town guy like me.

Then I went to the northern province, specifically to Chiang Mai.

Here I demonstrated my first driving skills on a scooter, until I ran out of gas and just stopped.

Then the gang here helped me and Mark (on the right in the picture) out of the predicament and got us some gas.

Of course we paid for the gas, but they didn't want to accept any money as a thank you, because "I just wanted to help".

Crazy

Although the goal of the trip was rather disappointing, the trip was worth it just because of the gas shortage.
