After waiting for a few days, we continued. At 7.00 in the morning, cyclists and hikers were standing at the dock to cross Lake O Higgins to Argentina. On the other side, the adventure awaited us, pushing our bikes along a hiking trail. Sometimes we hiked together, sometimes we had to carry the luggage individually. We pushed our bikes through ankle-deep mud and small streams... It was adventurous and very tiring, but in the evening we sat happily in the next boat that took us across Lake Desierto. The next few days were spent with coffee, cake, and two great hikes in El Chalten. We continued to El Calafate and took a bus to Perito Moreno. The weather was warm and summery at times. But today, there is already an icy wind blowing. We keep meeting the same people, especially other cyclists who are on the same journey as us. It's really nice. Sending lots of love home!
