Market day in Huancayo

I love markets! Kai is at least well enough that we could stroll through the largest market in Peru today. It was great. Outwardly, we were the only tourists. There really was everything. The day went by so quickly. There was a commotion in one place in a kind of arena. We went to see what was going on, which was a mistake! The Gringos were asked to go into the arena and jokes were made about us. Everyone cheered and applauded - only we don't know what it was about. Not too many tourists seem to find their way here. We are approached again and again (only the children are more scared), but unfortunately the conversation doesn't go much further than where we come from and what we are doing in Peru...

I'm now looking forward to hopefully many more great impressions and I'm telling myself that we are now past the illnesses. See you soon😍
