Mandalay

We have arrived and more or less rested and have completed the first excursion to the teakwood bridge and Mandalay Hill. The traffic is pleasant, the weather is also good, and it was great to observe the hustle and bustle. It was Sunday and many locals walked across the bridge in their finest clothes, getting their photos taken with parasols. Tomorrow we will head towards Moniwa to admire the largest standing Buddha in the world!
