Today we took it a bit easier. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning sun around 8:30 am.
At 9:30 am, we drove to Horseshoe Bend. An impressive view!
Afterwards, we continued to Kanab where we briefly visited Dennis Wigman. A large souvenir shop in western style.
By 3 pm, we reached Bryce Canyon.
First, we got an overview at Bryce Point before heading to Sunset Point. We decided to take a 2.2 km loop trail. The way down was easy, it was steep downhill. Unfortunately, we found out at the bottom that the next part of the loop trail was closed. So, we had to go all the way back. This time, it was steep uphill.
After a few short breaks, we finally made it back up and then drove to the highest point in Bryce Canyon, Yovimpa Point.
Then, we went to the hotel where we had dinner at the restaurant. Thomas thought he had ordered turkey but was served salmon instead. 😄 Nevertheless, he enjoyed it 😉
Tomorrow, we will visit Zion National Park.
