It's a sheep life!

The farmer presenting his pride and joy :)

He has a firm grip on his sheep, so it doesn't escape.

We got the wool as a souvenir to take home.

His loyal companion and sheep herder. He only listens to him and the commands are executed in a flash. Very impressive.

The tool! That's all he needs. Until a few years ago, he used a special scissors to shear his sheep.

We have passed by so many farms and countless sheep that this extra post is a must. :D

New Zealand is definitely a 'sheep country' and so we had a farmer explain the shearing of the sheep and the wool processing process. Pretty interesting :) and a very funny afternoon!
