La Fortuna with Arenal Volcano hike

We actually thought that without an online booking we would get a better price on site, unfortunately that was not the case.

Nevertheless, we decided to stay for two nights. The accommodation was beautiful, with the warm thermal springs and because we almost had them to ourselves. On the second day, we set off for a jungle hike. For this, we hired a tour guide.

Without him, we wouldn't have seen many animals or just walked past them. He also had a great pair of binoculars with him, which he used to take my photos 😅
