Today, we only disembarked around 11:00 AM. I had purchased a ticket for the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus, which I and several other passengers boarded shortly after.

At the first stop, our group left the bus to take a closer look at the university and the Royal Palace.

With the next Hop-On-Hop-Off bus, we continued our journey. The rest of the group got off at a sculpture park, while I continued on to the Kon-Tiki Museum. There, I saw the two vessels, Kon-Tiki and Ra II, with which Thor Heyerdahl undertook his spectacular voyages.

I had also purchased a ticket for the Maritime Museum and saw, among other things, the oldest Viking ship ever found.

Afterward, the bus took me back to the ship. Right in front of the ship, but outside the security area, there was a large stand selling souvenirs. I looked around but found nothing I wanted. With one exception: Three different types of salami were available - reindeer, elk, and whale meat. I had never tried whale meat before. However, a whole sausage was too expensive for me. Then a fellow passenger approached me and offered me a piece of his whale salami. I gladly accepted the offer. The salami was quite good, but nothing special.

In the evening, there was a folklore event called 'Nordic Whirlwind.' I found the dances a bit boring.
