Stage 1: Munich-Achensee

Following a tip, I parked my car confidently at Giesing train station. Along the high banks of the Isar, I quickly leave the city on a cycle path. A large forest area seamlessly follows and eventually I find myself on the banks of the Isar, which I follow through Bad Tölz and Lenggries to Lake Sylvenstein. From here, it's just a stone's throw to Lake Achensee.
