It continued to rain.

In the morning, we took our time to enjoy breakfast leisurely, with breakfast eggs!

When the rain eased up around 11:00 a.m., we set off to be overwhelmed by waves, beach, and wind. The wind blew steadily and strongly from the sea, as it often does. The beach stretched for kilometers to the north and south, a nearly endless stretch of soft, yellow sand, just as one dreams of. The sea relentlessly pushed huge, green waves onto the sand, surprising us more than once with a particularly vigorous wave that left us wetter than planned.

When we went for a swim in the afternoon, with the sun beginning to shine, we got our first impression of the power of the water. The waves here were something completely different than what we had experienced recently.

We spent the evening playing in the motorhome again. Wind, sand, and water would be plentiful tomorrow.
