Start towards the Polish Baltic Sea

After we had used Thursday to prepare for our vacation, it was time to start on Friday. All the preparations in the motorhome were completed, so we could head out right after sleeping in. We originally wanted to reach Szczecin on the first day, but even before we passed Berlin, we agreed that we wanted to spend the first night at a parking spot in Germany. After some searching in a really good parking app, Ines found a very nice parking spot by a lake in Penkun. The pictures and descriptions were promising, and when we arrived shortly after 5:00 PM, there was indeed a wonderful, well-marked parking spot right by the lake with a small restaurant where we immediately reserved a table for the evening.
However, before that, we wanted to take a short walk through the town and checked out the Penkun movement path, then it was time to eat.
In the evening, we sat by the water, and then it was time to retreat to the motorhome and sleep.
