Day 2 from Altötting to Salzkammergut

Camper Birthday….. happy B-day Jürgen!!!!

For breakfast we have the first camper coffee, cake and champagne for later🤣

Today we are driving early from Altötting to Wolfgangsee. We have booked a green fee for 2 pm, as tradition on Jürgen's birthday.☺️

After a short detour to Tüßling, 

we drive through Burghausen 

and along Irrsee, 

Mondsee and Wolfgangsee to the Golf Club "Salzburger Land", the oldest golf club in Austria.

When registering, we ask if we can stay overnight in the parking lot, which is no problem.

We start in good weather, 

but it changes after a short time and there is thunderstorm all around us.

We take a short break and can continue playing afterwards.

After a shower at the golf club, we go out to eat…..Homemade Berner Würstchen (Viennese sausages filled with cheese and wrapped in bacon. Very delicious, but who is going to eat all of this?

We have the rest packed for tomorrow 😋

Now we open the bottle of champagne that Robert brought from France.
