Off to Bad Ausee

We slept really well. We weren't kidnapped and woke up at 5am from the truck noise.

So let's hit the road and head south. The highway is crowded but at least we don't have a traffic jam. The first breakfast and coffee stop at 7am.

As there's a traffic jam at the border crossing in Bad Reichenhall, we drive to Austria via Braunau. There are no checks here.

It's really convenient to have festival chairs with us 🤪 and be able to prepare a latte overlooking the lake.

But the water here is really cold.

today we're parking in the park... quite different from the truck stop 🤣

After going through the town and not getting a table at the restaurant, we have spaghetti with pesto in the park.

And of course, a bedtime wine. We fall asleep to the sound of the Traun.
