Across Utha
Good morning😀
It's 5:55 am. Jürgen is still sleeping, I'm already wide awake and excited about the day.
So, everyone showered and awake and hoping to find breakfast and coffee on the way.
We drive the 12 towards Boulder and further towards Torrey. The scenery, which changes almost behind every curve, takes our breath away. Unfortunately, also our breakfast.
Unfortunately, the places on the map cannot be described as such, but rather a collection of a handful of houses. So there is caffeine in the form of Coke and bread in the form of my beloved peanut butter crackers😀
Arriving in Torrey around noon, we finally have a coffee. (although the Coke was almost better than the coffee 😉)
After a short rest, we continue to Capitol Reef National Park.
Again, dreamlike red mountain worlds and hardly any tourists.
We have our lunch break next to a stream in the National Park.
The continuation of our journey takes us through the San Rafael Desert. Hot, dry, and vast.
Arriving in Moab, we check into our 'Luxury Cabin' 🙄 unfortunately, it doesn't have much luxury.
So we'll make the accommodation beautiful, in what feels like 50 degrees ☀️☀️
