After the heavy rain and flood in the rainforest, we had to walk back through chest-deep water. Just a few days later, we experienced the next highlight: Manchu Picchu. The journey there was incredibly challenging and exhausting. It's not as easy to get there as we initially thought. No, it's complicated times ten and there are x steps. The last 10 km have to be walked because there is no road, only a train, and the prices...without words. But after 2 days, we finally arrived and it was totally worth it. It simply looks amazing. Incredibly impressive. It's understandable why 3000 people pilgrimage there daily. The journey back doesn't bother us anymore. We are just happy to have seen it, and most importantly, we had great weather. (If it's foggy, you're out of luck). By the way, the entrance fee is 40 euros, but everyone should do it at least once in their life.
