Day 40: Millaa Millaa - Cairns

The night was a delight; so cosily cool that we slept for 10 hours. After a leisurely brunch and a swim at the Millaa Millaa Falls, we leave this idyllic place. Our route today is beautiful and takes us through the unique Tablelands! Another stop at the fascinating 'Curtain Fig Tree'. In Yungaburra, we realize that mangoes here are so cheap because they grow on huge trees, just like apples do at home. At the NRMA Cairns Holiday Park campground, we meet the friendly Dutch people for the third time on our trip; a shared beer before they leave Australia tomorrow.
