Goodbye Hogar
And just like that, half a year in the Hogar is over. I'm going to miss the children very much, I have built such beautiful relationships with them. But it's time to move on....

Trip to Otavalo

An extended weekend in nearby Ecuador. A delightful change from the strict Hogar routine in the always cold and rainy Pasto.
Kind of the sisters to give me a ride to Tulcan (already in Ecuador), where they went to buy rice and sugar (cheaper there). In Tulcan, we quickly visited the spectacular cemetery and then I continued alone to Otavalo to spend the weekend with some relatives of mine who are currently traveling in Ecuador (crazy, Kupschinas and Karlis everywhere ;-))
It was definitely a wonderful weekend, even the over 9-hour journey was worth it :-0
