Shit happen...

After our heater broke down at 2 am, we decided to drive a bit further northeast so that the battery could recharge and the heater would work again. Because without it, it was almost unbearable and freezing cold. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well, as a few hours later the heater broke down again! Now we were at a closed camping site in Raufarhöfn. Luckily, there was a swimming pool nearby where we could take a hot shower. After that, we felt much better. We found a 'supermarket' in the small town. In the evening, we wanted to continue our journey, but our car wouldn't start anymore. We called the car rental company, but they couldn't help us because they were about 600 km away from us. So we set off and rang a doorbell at a house, and there they were, the kind Icelanders. Two men gave us a jumpstart, and hooray, it worked! The journey could continue.
