On June 22, 2026, we arrived in Rio de Janeiro and thus commenced the next leg of our journey in Brazil.

Our first impressions were just as one would expect: wide beaches, strong waves, brilliant sunshine, all framed by the distinctive backdrop of city and mountains. The atmosphere was relaxed, vibrant, and immediately felt like Rio.

We were right at Ipanema Beach and could ease into this new phase of our trip. Naturally, a cool drink on the beach was a must.

The images capture our initial impressions of Rio de Janeiro and the successful start to this fascinating city.
