Chillan

Today we drove from Santiago to Chillan. A distance of about 400 km, heading south, towards one of our highlights, Tierra del Fuego. In the Catholic institution where we were supposed to stay overnight, there weren't enough sleeping places, so Norbert and I voluntarily checked into a hostel nearby. Not completely selfless from us, we had reasonable space, while the others were accommodated in 16 sqm rooms with bunk beds for four.

Since we didn't have any appointments in Chillan anymore, the rest of the day was free for us to enjoy.
