Camps Bay - Relaxing

Total relaxation day. So this is considered the first relaxation day of the vacation, if we disregard a half day at the beach in Knysna. G. treats herself to a manicure/pedicure and I retreat to the pool with my book. From there, you can see the 12 Apostles, depending on where you stand. And you can also see Lion's Head. What a great location.

Lemon Tree Cottage

Ben appears from the cottage around 11am. He missed breakfast. However, it was very delicious and we had breakfast there with Philipp and his friends Hans and his wife from Vienna, as well as Kati and her mother from Munich, and a solo traveler from France.

I have to call Switzerland at 1:00 pm and I am busy with follow-up work until 3:00 pm. Writing emails on tablets will never be my hobby. The wind has picked up again as I sit by the pool after 3:00 pm.

We both pack again for a trial and then go back down to the bay for the sunset. Beautiful impressions, unfortunately very windy with nasty sandblasting and you are immediately covered in sand. The food at Ocean's Blue is good again, but our spot is not as nice as yesterday.

The nice shop next door is searched again and I find two wooden figures that fit into the luggage (they have to). Taxi back home and in the living room are all our fellow guests, except for Ben. We wake him up and kill four bottles of wine - what a funny evening!
