January 29th - the tour begins

After a restful night, we set off for Hermanus. We decided to take the coastal route and drive through Gordon's Bay. After a short stop at "Pitts Stop" and 1.5 hours later, we arrived at our apartment right by the sea in Hermanus.

We unpacked quickly, admired the apartment, and went on a little exploration tour of Hermanus. We competently enjoyed refreshments (Carsten had his first Strawberry Daiquiri) at Burgundys, listened to musicians on the coast, and did our first shopping at the market. Then we rushed through Pick n Pay and went back to the apartment to rest for a while.

Afterwards, we went to our Italian favorite restaurant "Fabios" and saw our friend Wietske again - what a reunion! Of course, we also enjoyed the fine Limoncello for dessert. But now we're exhausted and excited to listen to the waves in our comfortable bed.
