STRIKE at Frankfurt Airport!
After a strike was called at Frankfurt Airport, our outbound flight was changed to Düsseldorf at short notice. Fortunately. Everything went smoothly at the airport and the 11-hour flight to Johannesburg went optimally and went faster than expected 😜 In Johannesburg, we received our suitcases, money, and our rental car for the first 5 days, and we set off with all our luggage for the 4-hour drive towards Hazyview in the Kruger National Park. Upon arriving at our lodge, we met our host Jakes. He showed us the lodge and gave us some tips for the next few days. After the long journey (24 hours to Hazyview) we were glad to finally arrive!
