The 11th day

This morning we wanted to stay in bed, but the view from the window and the weather check didn't look promising. It was raining at 5 degrees. But still, we started towards Norway at 9:30 am. It rained for the first 160 km and the temperatures didn't rise.

After lunch at a cafe at the last gas station in Finland, we continued directly north. As soon as we crossed the border to Norway, the rain stopped and even the sun came out.

Until Alta, we had one of the most beautiful routes we had driven so far, along a river, through gorges, and along lakes.

In Alta, we then moved into our cottage and Blue Knights friends from Norway 6 drove us to the old town by car.
