After a rather hectic breakfast, we set off for Everglades National Park. We first stopped at the 'Anhinga Trail'. Since there are black vultures there that peck at the car's rubber, we decided to cover it with a tarpaulin. On the way, we saw birds, turtles, and alligators. Fortunately, there wasn't much going on as we were out early. At our second stop at the Flamingo Visitor Center, we saw manatees, which surfaced for a few seconds in the harbor to breathe air. At the third stop, there were interesting trees to see. You can easily drive to the individual stops in the park by car. The whole park has plenty of wildlife and many different trees and plants, and a lot of water 😅. We were back at the hotel around half past four. Tonight, we went out to eat and did some shopping at Walmart. You can quickly buy 4.5 kg of ground beef here. And all the meat is really cheap here. Now we're taking a rest because tomorrow we're going back to the park to 'shark valley'.
