Day 13 - On the road to Key West

Today we left Orlando for Key West early at 7:30. After a long drive and a few breaks, we arrived in Key West around 3 pm. Just in time for our arrival, it started pouring rain. Florida - the sunshine state? More like the rainy state!

Because of the rain, we decided to rest in our room for a bit. And then there was a power outage. So romantic. ;-)

After that, we took the hotel shuttle bus to the city center. Unfortunately, it was still raining and there was a power outage... so we quickly went back and went out for dinner. But it seemed like a million people had the same idea at that time. So we went to Pizza Hut, also had to wait for half an hour, did some shopping in between, and then had dinner in our room. Luckily, the power was back on.
