Plzeň-Bolevec
After a day and a half in Loket, the journey was supposed to continue. The plan was to take a bus to Sokolov to see if staying there is a good idea or where to go next. I left...

I started the Thursday morning (01.06.2017) by preparing breakfast at the tent. While something similar to hunting sausage was sizzling in the pan and waiting to be enriched with a few eggs, I suddenly felt a craving for a cup of coffee. So I went to the campsite kiosk. When I returned to the tent (not even 5 minutes later), I caught Rango devouring half a self-baked bread. The piece of butter and my lovingly fried sausage were also nowhere to be found. And to make matters worse, I spilled my hot drink while washing up... not the best start to the day!
Before heading to Plzeň-City, I struck up a conversation with my camping neighbors and was spontaneously invited for a bowl of soup. After that, I finally took the tram to the Old Town. My tour took me to places such as the Grand Synagogue (unfortunately closed due to a holiday), St. Bartholomew's Cathedral and the market, the West Bohemian Museum, the historical cellars, and some parks. Despite the extensive Old Town, it always had a cozy and lively atmosphere, probably due to the almost 10% student population.
Back at the campsite, I invited my neighbors Kerstin and Peter from Mühldorf am Inn for a beer. Rango surprisingly got along well with their older female dog. Maybe he likes blonde long-haired girls!? Great thing. So, this day came to an end with a relaxed chat.
