The Atlantic Road to Kristiansund

The Atlantic Road to Kristiansund is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Especially the 8.5 km that lead directly through the sea.

Originally, a railway line was supposed to be built between the cliffs and promontories here, but it was never completed. As a result, the road was built instead. There are a total of 12 bridges and several places along the road where you can stop for a photo.

Afterwards, we drove to Kristiansund to buy the world-famous clipfish. Here we had an interesting chat with 2 people from Mecklenburg who have been living in Norway for 18 years. However, both of them now want to retire and return to Germany.
