Continued journey to Marina di Modica

Today we headed to the final destination - packing our things, eating granite and brioche, and then off to Marina di Modica. In between, we took a swimming break at the pebble beach of ... - where wonderful flat stones could be snapped. Near Catania, there was some traffic on the highway before a toll booth - it seemed the staff at the cash register were busy with all sorts of tasks - anything but the actual work - the honking concert was correspondingly loud and extensive - but it seemed to not bother anyone - the staff shuffled unfazed from their booth to the restroom or wherever they disappeared to….

As announced, we promptly took over the apartment and counted the essential utensils. Afterwards, we made a quick detour to the beach - everything almost as usual - new paths to the beach and the beach huts have also been expanded/modernized. There is also a new restaurant/pizzeria right on the beach.

While Ducksteins arrived, Conny and I took care of the first grocery shopping.

In the evening, we then tested the Boca di Marina Pizzeria together.
