Day 14: Highway #1 Carmel - San Simeon

Many say this is the most beautiful stretch on the #1. We were also impressed by the picturesque coast and by the highway itself, which runs for about 80 miles along the coast.

After this magnificent section, we reached a gathering place for elephant seals. They are lined up on the beach and nothing disturbs them. From time to time you can hear snoring or witness the fights for the best place.

The end of the day is marked by Morro Rock at the famous Morro Bay. Here we enjoyed a stay on the beach and in the sun :D
